Maid in the UK -

1. MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS


1.1 By completing the steps described in clause 1.1. You become a member of the Maid in the UK. Your membership begins immediately upon receipt of a confirmation email. Maid in the UK members may have exclusive access to:

1.2. temporary preferential rates and/or discounts for one or more specific services;

1.3 special offers, deals, discounts and promotions (the ‘Special Offers’) available only to members of the Maid in the UK. The Special Offers may be varied in our absolute discretion, with immediate effect, from time to time. The Special Offers may appear on Our website(s). You may also be notified of the Special Offers via email and sms. Emails shall be sent to the e-mail address that was provided by You upon creation of your Maid in the UK Account, messages shall be sent to You on the phone number provided by You upon creation of Your Maid in the UK Account.

1.4 Upon purchasing and activating a membership OR renewal of a membership, the account of the account holder who purchased or renewed their Maid in the UK membership will be offered a 15% discount on the first booking of each new membership or renewal. The account holder can receive a 10% discount on each one of the following service groups: Carpet cleaning, Oven cleaning and Window cleaning. 

1.5 The discount cannot be used as a partial payment for materials (needed for services), parking, congestion and any third-party costs related to the booking. The account holder will be able to receive 10% by referring other customers to Maid in the UK Services.


1.6 The discounts expires and cease to be usable after a lapse of a period 12 months after receipt. The benefits described in clause 2.1. shall collectively be referred to as the ‘Benefits’.


1.7 You may unsubscribe and/or subscribe back to receiving the Special Offers at any time.


1.8 You shall not hold Us liable if You fail to take advantage or chose not to take advantage of any of the aforementioned offers, deals and promotions, due to time constraint and/or if those offers are subject to availability. Additionally, You are entitled to a full and/or partial refund due to your decision to unsubscribe temporarily and/or indefinitely from receiving offers, deals and promotions via email.


1.9 Nothing in these terms shall place Us under any obligation to provide a minimum level of Benefits, including but not limited to, preferential rates, discounts, offers, deals or promotions to members of the Maid in the UK. Any and all Benefits shall be, provided in such manner and basis, as We may, in Our absolute discretion, think fit.


1.10 For avoidance of any doubt, We reserve the right to change, increase or decrease the Benefits without prior notice to You. In case You are not willing to accept the amendments, You can terminate your membership by contacting Us via email. 


1.11 Nothing in these terms shall be construed as a guarantee of satisfaction and/or a certain level of quality of the provision of the services.


1.12 The Benefits of the membership from Maid in the UK are subject to availability and the minimum charges applicable to all services. For avoidance of any doubt, a member of the Maid in the UK shall not be able to benefit from a preferential rate, discount, promotion and/or any other Benefit, if that Benefit would reduce the price of the service below the minimum applicable charge.


1.13 The Benefits are applicable to the hourly rate of the labour only. For avoidance of any doubt, the Benefits shall not apply to the cost of any and all charges, fees, consumables, goods and/or materials, including but not limited to, detergents, parts, spare parts, materials, goods, congestion charges and/or parking fees.


1.14 The Benefits shall not be applied retrospectively. For avoidance of any doubt, the benefits cannot be applied to bookings for services made prior to the beginning of the membership period.


1.15 The Benefits of the membership of the Maid in the UK are restricted to the owner of the account. For avoidance of any doubt, the benefits of the membership may be applied to multiple properties as long as they are owned by the owner of the account.


1.16 The membership of the Maid in the UK is non-transferable and personal to You. In case You become aware of an unauthorised use of your membership and/or your account, You must inform Us.

 

2. MEMBERSHIP FEE PAYMENT AND BILLING


2.1. In order to become a member of Maid in the UK, You must pay the Annual Membership Fee in full. Only payment by credit or debit card shall be accepted as payment method.


2.2. In order to remain a member of the Maid in the UK and access the benefits the Annual Membership Fee shall be settled for the current billing period via the payment method that You have selected. For avoidance of any doubt, the Annual Membership Fee shall be paid every 12 /twelve/ months or every year.


2.3 The current billing period shall be the period of 1 /one/ year for which the last Annual Membership Fee has been paid.


2.4. If the payment is not successfully settled, due to any reason, We may suspend your membership, and the non-membership amount will apply. The period during which You have been a member shall be considered as unauthorised membership. Any Benefits which have been used during the period of unauthorised use of the membership shall be refunded to Us immediately upon Our request.


2.5. If a pre-authorisation of a payment or a payment is not successful due to any reason not caused by us, You agree and authorise us to pre-authorise or take that payment from any other bank account and/or credit card which You have provided to us for the purposes of paying for services and/or fees.


2.6 You remain responsible for any unpaid amounts until their settlement.


2.7 The Annual Membership Fee can be increased or decreased from time to time. For avoidance of any doubt, the Annual Membership Fee may not be increased or decreased retrospectively.

 

3. TERM AND TERMINATION


3.1. Your membership in the Maid in the UK commences at the time when your application is accepted, the Annual Membership Fee is paid, and You receive a confirmation email.


3.2. The term of the membership is indefinite and may be terminated by You at any time, subject to the conditions in this clause 4.


3.3 You may cancel your membership at any time by sending a cancellation request to hello@maidin-theuk.co.uk or by contacting customer services at: 020 3045 0437. You may be eligible for a partial refund of the Annual Membership Fee depending on the benefits already used by You and/or anyone authorised by You to use your account during the current billing period.


3.4 If a termination or a cancellation occurs within 14 days after the commencement of the membership, the Annual Membership Fee may be refunded fully or partially on request by the membership owner.


3.5 If neither You and/or a person authorised by You to use your account has taken advantage of any Benefits during the current billing period, We will refund the Annual Membership Fee in full.


3.6 If You and/or a person authorised by You to use your account has taken advantage of any Benefit, We will issue a partial refund based on the Benefits that have been used during the current billing period.


3.7 If You are not eligible for any type of refund your membership shall be cancelled and terminated at the end of the current billing period. In case You are eligible for a refund, your membership shall be cancelled and terminated immediately, upon your request.


3.8. We reserve the right to terminate your membership at any time by written notice to You, in case of a breach of these Terms and Conditions.


3.9 Once the membership is terminated, cancelled or expires, You shall no longer have access to the Benefits described in clause 2 (Membership Benefits).

 

4 GENERAL PROVISIONS


4.1 All preferential rates, discounts, any deals, offers and/or promotions provided by Us are subject to the terms and conditions which apply specifically to them.


4.2. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by Us, the benefits of the membership of the Maid in the UK may not be combined with each other and/or any other voucher, discount, offer, deal and/or preferential rate.


4.3 Services purchased by using the Maid in the UK membership shall not be offered for commercial purposes, directly or indirectly, by or through You and/or any third-party.


4.4 When applying for a Maid in the UK membership, You agree to provide accurate and complete personal information (including but not limited to your names, address of You or your property, email address and/or any credit or debit card information or bank account details) and in case of any changes of that information throughout the period of the membership, You agree to update that information accordingly, within reasonable time. We shall use this information according to our Privacy Policy. If You fail to comply with the above obligation, We reserve the right to terminate your membership, without prior notice.


4.5 We may revise and change these Terms and Conditions, from time to time, by amending this page. You are obligated to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes We made, as they are binding on You. Some of the provisions contained in these terms of use may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our site.


4.6 Unless stated otherwise in writing by Us, the Terms and Conditions of the services remain as the terms governing your relationship with the Service Provider with regards to the provision of any and all services. For avoidance of any doubts, the Terms and Conditions herein are applicable and govern only your membership with Maid in the UK.


4.7 Any of the material on our site may be out of date at any given time, and We are under no obligation to update any and all materials, whatsoever.


4.8 You hereby acknowledge and agree that You have read, understood, considered and accept these terms and conditions, and that by using or accessing the Maid in the UK Services websites and/or apps and participating in the Maid in the UK Services Membership, You are agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein.
